It should be the ( plain) Greenberry Griffith
married Ruth Riggs. Here is a quotefrom the FOUNDERS OF ANNE ARUNDEL AND HOWARD COUNTIES,
MARYLAND by Warfield
p. 349 "Greenberry Griffith (of Orlando)inherited "Ward's Care" and "Howard's Luck";
he married Ruth Riggs, his neighbor, of Riggs' Hills; he was warden and vestryman of Queen Caroline parish...His son, Hezekiah-(mar) Catherine Warfield(of Azel);their son,* John Riggs Griffith,-(mar) Sarah Tracey, whose daughter, Rebecca-(mar) William Davis......." I think that "their son" means son of Greenberry Griffith and Ruth Riggs.
Now for Charles Greenberry Griffith he should be the youngest son of Orlando Griffith and Katherine Howard. He married Sarah Ridgely. Here is another quote from the same book

P.350 "Colonel Charles Greenberry Griffith, youngest son of Orlando, was Colonel of First Baltimore Flying Camp, 1776. He married Sarah Ridgely, daughter of colonel Henry and Elizabeth (Warfield) Ridgely. Their daughter, Elizabeth-(mar)General Jeremiah Crabb, of fourth Battalion in Continental Army, Brigadier-General of Militia 1794, Representative in Congress 1795-1796"

He was married to Katherine HOWARD on 6 Jun 1717.

269. Katherine HOWARD was born in 1702. She died in 1783. Children were:

i. Sarah GRIFFITH was born on 13 May 1718. She died on 1 Sep 1794 in MD.
ii. Nicholas GRIFFITH was born in 1719.
iii. Hon. Henry D. GRIFFITH Sr. was born on 14 Feb 1720. He died on 28 Sep 1794. Note Hon. Henry Griffith was a tobacco inspector in 1740, 1753,4,5 in Queen Caroline's Parish, Anne Arundel Co., Maryland. He was amember of the Lower House of the Colonial Assembly for Anne Arundel co.1768, 1769, 1770.
He was one of the Committee of Observation appointed at a meeting of the inhabitants of Frederick Co. Jan. 24,1775 to carry the Resolves of the American Congress and of the Provincial Convention into execution. He was a member of the Convention of Maryland that assembled July 26, 1775, at Annapolis, Maryland and formed the "Association of the Freemen of Maryland". He was one of the Justices of Montgomery Co.
